2nd Historic Illustration done for the photography exhibition "SEXO NA PEDRA" ("Sex On The Stone"), about the curious architectural elements on some Spanish catholic churches from the medieval Romanic period containing sexual explicit scenes and bodyparts.
This is a fantastic representation of some superstitious legends proclaimed by the medieval catholic religion to inspire fear, prevent sin and of couse control the nation. Monster toads, snakes, fire, hell dogs... all this kind of macabre, grotesque situations are recurring imagery on Romanic churches.
